Nearly all of the above rests on one source: a 33,632-entry dictionary. One source cannot check itself.
So a second, independently compiled dictionary (4,525 entries) is used for comparison: 3,278 shared terms, 61 category conflicts, 294 definitions that barely overlap.
⚠️ These are candidates worth a human look, not verdicts about which book is wrong. A machine cannot tell a difference in detail from a real disagreement, and should not pretend to.
The materia medica page uses the same idea: two independently compiled datasets (1773 and 1995) check each other across 5,048 formulas — 10/10 organs above the random baseline.
